IEEE IECON is the flagship yearly conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, devoted to the dissemination of new ideas, research and works in progress in the fields of Robotics and Mechatronics, Power Electronics, Cybersecurity, Renewable Energy, Smart Grid, Digital Twins, AI for Industrial Processes, and Industry 5.0, among others.

IECON program includes workshops, tutorials, panels, keynotes, and presentation of original research and industrial applications.

The world’s industry, research, and academia are cordially invited to participate in a wide array of technical and social activities for the advancement of science, technology, industry, engineering education, and fellowship.

How to get to Madrid

Madrid has just one airport serving all the routes arriving to and departing from the city. Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport is located in the northeast of Madrid, Barajas district, only 8 miles (13 kilometers) from Madrid city center.

It has four terminals and one satellite buildingas Terminal (T4) consists of two buildings, T4 and its satellite (T4S), connected through an automatic underground train. The shuttle bus connecting the terminals is free and operates 24/7.

Medical services, ATMs, VAT refunds, and police assistance are among the services offered at the airport, along with a multitude of shops and restaurants.

Madrid is a friendly and beautiful city is the most important city in Spain. The city has been able to successfully mix traditional culture and fine gastronomy with a new vision for the future and respectfully renders tribute to its  past while hosting landmark buildings of vanguardism architecture.
